Printed this filament guide with cables holder. Look neat and avoid the other broken filament while printing one color. I have experience filament not printing broken twice (using 1 color) with big 3d print.
The filament hitting the sharp edge of the filament entry path or feeder hole to print head assembly . forgot to take a snap shot of the broken filament at that time.
Buildtak sheet does not stick any more. Change to a new sheet. It stick like super glue. Almost impossible removing after print. I having hard time removing even the simple brim. See attached images. I have to used a knife to slowly shave off the brim. Filament material ABS. After removing all prints. It leaves marks on the new buildtak sheet.
Printed polygon owl without support. Infill 10%. Printer Flashforge creator pro. Filament ABS. East to print.
Printed the tree root. With
support. The printed root bottom look ragged. The rest look good and smooth.
Slicer - Simplified3d. Printed without support. The ooze shield auto. When select duel extruder printing.
As you can see . after printed the ooze shield cover the frog but not touching it. The ooze is easily removed, look like a shed skin.
ABS filament print turn out great. Filament dia. 1.62mm when measure. But my print setting was 1.75mm. 3D printer used Flashforge Pro
Paste built tak on glass pane and attached to built platform. I used simplified3d slicer. All the 3 printed model stick to the built tak without fail.
For my experience when using clip. If your print is too huge the extruder will hit the clip. It happen once. So I just place the glass pane on the platform and used blue painter tape on all 4 side. It works well. If you own a dual extruder 3d printer consider the tape option. Happy printing.
A step-up structure was printed. To place on to the Z Axis as a stopper. So the Z Axis will not over shoot because of the glass pane on the printed platform.
