Cleaning maintenance the Extruder Drive Gear on a FlashForge Creator Pro 3D Printer
This is one of the more common maintenance procedures for any 3D printer. Occasionally, the drive gear that feeds the filament gets clogged with plastic, which will lead to under-extrusion and poor print quality. To correct this issue, the extruder needs to be removed so the drive gear can be cleaned manually.

FLASHFORGE Creator X 3D Printer - 04. Leveling the Build Plate
Video Tutorial Series for FLASHFORGE Creator X 3D Printer.
A flat build surface is essential to getting perfect and smooth prints. When the result of the print is far from your expectations, an improperly leveled build plate is often one of the culprits to blame.
This video walks through the basic procedure for leveling the build plate using the Creator X. The main idea is to leave just enough gap (the thickness of a letter-sized paper) between the nozzle and the build surface on all areas of the build plate.
Note: This is the most important procedure, with the built plate properly level 95% of your print will be good... Please put some effort leveling the built plate. Good luck...

How To Upgrade Glass Bed For FlashForge Creator X Pro 3D Printer With Brenden Macias
Maker some has introduced their Glass Bed Upgrade Kit. A Borosilicate glass bed upgrade is an excellent upgrade to your printer if it didn’t already come with one.
The Flashforge Creator X Pro and Flash Forge Dreamer are excellent machines and print wonderfully just the way they come from Makersome. We found this small and simple upgrade makes them even better to use.
At Makersome, we generally print with heated beds even with PLA to keep prints from warping. When I finish a print I want to get it off the bed and start using it right away. This would generally mean getting a little rough with the machines in order to pry the print off before it cooled down, which we do not recommend at all by the way (Note: If you wait for your bed to cool down completely your prints will generally pop off very easily).
The solution for us was a removable glass bed. It has worked out great! It’s allowed us to print even quicker than before by hot swapping out plates. When one print is complete we can remove the glass plate from the printer (be careful it will be HOT) and swap it out with a different plate already prepped for printing. It also allowed us to have multiple glass bed plates setup for different printing materials to make printing with multiple materials less of a headache. We can be printing our second print as the first one cools down. It’s a great system when you have a lot of printing to get done quickly. Another advantage is that, once removed, we can apply a little measured force to the prints to coax them off the glass bed plate without having to be rough with the machines at all.
To help prints sick to our glass plates we like using hairspray for PLA and PET tape with ABS Juice (aka ABS slurry) for ABS prints. A couple of things worth noting, it will take a little bit longer for your bed to heat up with the glass bed plate in place. You will also loose a tiny bit of build volume to the thickness of the glass plate.

Flashforge Dreamer 3D Printer - Benefits of Extra Cooling
This is a video showing the benefits of extra cooling. I came across my first model that simply would not print because the Flashforge Dreamer does not have enough active cooling to cool the part which leads the the overhangs to lift upwards and ultimately, ruin the print. This may be overkill with 2 big fans, but it shows how important good cooling is while printing PLA and overhangs.

Flashforge creator pro 3D printer : Built plate or print bed no level.
My sharing : This will happen if built plate not level or calibration not done properly. Also what paper thickness you are using to level extruder to built plate. I used to using A4 paper like some suggested. Still giving bad printing result.
Finally a friend used his name card to level the built plate. And test print and finally works, printing without problem.
Note the round cal disc model was the test print.

Cable tie and washer nick the wires.
Cut cable tie, careful not to cut the wires.
Next, rearrange all wires away from the washer.
Next, used the same size cable tie to re tied the new arrangement of wires.
Ensure wire are not press against the washer.

Flashforge 3d printer, camera Benbo1 tripod caps
My old Benbo1 tripod feet caps disintegrated . So decide to replace them. Model it and printed it. 50% infill to make it strong and solid. But take longer time to print. It was a tight fit, and but it fit well. I try ramming the feet against the floor to see if the newly printed ABS caps will break. But it did not crack or chip. Very happy with the print out quality. Download model: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:751142
The feel on the print out is smooth to touch!!!
As you can see the Top rubber cap still attached to one of the legs, while the other two disintegrated and await for new cap to be fitted on.
Above new cap fitted in perfectly!!!
Now my old tripod look new.

* Replicator G : You can find it within the SD card or download it from raplicat.org
* PyPy - python library that Replicator depends on as interpreter. Download from : http://pypy.org/
* Slic3r - slicing software of your STL files to generate the G-Codes. Can Download from : Slic3r.org
* GPX - software that tells slic3r to produce x3g that way you can put it in the SD card and print it from the printer ( VS sending it via USB). Can be Downloaded here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:81425
* 3D CAD software: I'm using 123D Design. Can be downloaded here:http://www.123dapp.com/design
The text file for setting up the profiles in slic3r can be found at this google drive location: https://drive.google.com/folderview?i...

FlashForge Creator Pro 3d Printer Review
Added a glass on built plate on Flashforge creator pro
I added a glass on my Flashforge Creator Pro. 3D printer. For easy removing finish prints. Some prints stuck really well. Note I have to added a raiser for the micro switch. See attached image. Otherwise the built plate will overshoot and damage print heat or built plate.
